“As wave is driven by wave
And each, pursued, pursues the wave ahead,
So time flies on and follows, flies, and follows,
Always, for ever and new. What was before
Is left behind; what never was is now;
And every passing moment is renewed.”

Genevieve Artadi is a Los Angeles-based composer, producer, and vocalist. An existing description of her music as "sophisticated, eclectic pop that playfully expresses a wide range of emotions" (Paul Simpson) pleases Genevieve as she hopes to etch the truth of her life with all its influences and turns into her work. Genevieve recently released her second album Dizzy Strange Summer on the label Brainfeeder. She also took the role of Composer-In-Residence with Sweden's Norrbotten Big Band. In addition to being a solo artist, she is an active, main member of projects KNOWER (with Louis Cole) and Expensive Magnets (with Pedro Martins), and has collaborated with artists including Real Bad Man, David Binney, Snarky Puppy, Edward Simon, String Boys, Zach Phillips, Chiquita Magic, Frederico Heliodoro, Antonio Loureiro, and Thundercat. Genevieve is currently working on a third solo album, as well as a fifth album with KNOWER.

With compositional influences ranging from jazz to rock to minimalism, as well as their experience as a choral singer and teacher, Mx. Burke aims to create music that is accessible to everybody. Burke has been commissioned by several ensembles, including the Chamber Singers at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. As a former member of the UMass Lowell Chamber Singers, Mx. Burke, an alto, has performed master works including movements from Bach’s Magnificat, Brahms’ Nänie and Schicksalslied, and Mozart’s Requiem, under the direction of Brian O’Connell and Dr. Jonathan Richter.
